I think we're pretty good at catching fish - but if there's one thing I think I really understand well - it's my boat. In my old life, I developed, installed, and maintained low voltage electronics as a mechanical engineer (B.S. M.E. Virginia Tech '08) for a defense contractor. That has translated very well to marine electronics, charter fishing, and how I use my boat. I think understanding my electronics has directly led to catching better fish.
